1. Students watched the film Selma.
2. Students were introduced to the Black Panther Party and the FBI COINTELPRO program. Students analyzed a series of documents determining the involvement of the FBI in suppressing the Civil Rights movement. They wrote a group essay and edited a textbook entry using this worksheet.
