Christopher Columbus

Agenda:
  1. Students received their Zinn Chapter 1 quizzes. I explained the procedure for making up credit. 
  2. Students were introduced to the historical dialectic as a way to study history (below), constantly changing and updated their understanding of any historical moment.
  3. Students read an article by Howard Zinn, Unsung Heroes
  4. Students began working on a mock trial of Columbus and others responsible for the deaths of thousands of Native Americans.
