The Legacy of Slavery - Traces of the Trade

Agenda 11/8:

1. Students discussed whether the descendants of people who became wealthy as result of the slave trade should, in some part, attempt to repair injustices and inequalities that stem from the slavery.
2. Students watched an excerpt from the film Traces of the Trade. 
3. After, they read this article about white privilege.
4. Students discussed the article, and whether or not it changed their answers to the first question.
