Abolitionist Simulation

Agenda 11/4:

1. Students  viewed an excerpt from a graphic novel about Nat Turner's 1831 slave rebellion.
2. Students participated in a simulation of a meeting of the American Anti-Slavery Society. They created their own autobiographies of abolitionists and decided how the organization would respond to several historical events.
