At the end of the period, students began watching the film The Judge and the General, about the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet in Chile. Students took notes on crimes, victims, and perpetrators of the Pinochet regime.

US Intervention in Latin America
Yesterday (Monday, 5/15) students finished watching the film about the Cold War in Latin America. Today they looked at obedience and guilt, considering questions about responsibility and guilt regarding the Holocaust. Students learned about the Milgrim experiment which studied obedience in human behavior.
