Christopher Columbus - Howard Zinn

Agenda 9/14-15:

1. Students viewed a series of clips interpreting Columbus. They looked at a news story of an American Indian who claimed Italy by "right of discovery".
2. Students then drew a map of the Colombian Exchange in their notebooks.
3. To end, students read the first 10 pages of Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States. They took notes using this worksheet.
