The Great Migration and Black Leaders

Agenda 3/4:
  1. Students viewed a slideshow, writing down push and pull factors that led people to leave the south.
  2. Students listened to an interview and continued to take notes about the Great Migration.
  3. Students began reading about one of the following black leaders from the early 20th century: Marcus Garvey, Booker T. Washington, and W.E.B. DuBois. They took notes using this graphic organizer.
