The Mexican Revolution

Over the past week, students have been studying the Mexican Revolution. Below is a list of activities from the unit:
  1. Students read an article and created a timeline in their notebooks. The timeline's focused on points during the revolution that power changed hands.
  2. Students read Chapter 7 in Born in Blood and Fire, completing a reading guide. This assignment was turned in.
  3. Students took notes from "Who's Who" presentation about the main characters of the revolution [below].
  4. Students wrote and performed skits depicting different moments of the revolution.
  5. Students responded to former IB prompts to demonstrate the understanding of the Mexican Revolution.
  6. To finish, students wrote songs (Corridos) about the Mexican Revolution.
