The Intimately Oppressed

I was gone on Tuesday.

Agenda 1/20-22:
  1. Students read chapter 6 in Zinn, The Intimately Oppressed, about conditions for women during early America.
  2. Students finished watching Miss Representation and continued discussing gender portrayals in the media today. Students turned in their worksheets critically analyzing images of men and women in the media.
  3. Students began reading an article about prostitution and women's liberation. They took notes using this worksheet.
  4. Also, I passed out the study guide for the semester one final.
