Slavery and Resistance

Agenda 10/15:

  1. Students read primary documents about the voyage of the slave ship Hare. They answered questions and completed a map depicting the triangular trade.
  2. Students brainstormed a list of way in which a slave might resist their enslavement.
  3. Students viewed a series of excerpts from the graphic novel Nat Turner, about an 1831 slave rebellion.
