Civil Rights and WWII Test

Today was my first day back after paternity leave. Thanks all for being flexible in my absence.

Agenda 5/21:
  1. Work time to organize papers and prepare second semester History Journals.
  2. Students looked at a series of slides from 1962, building context for the era of the Civil Rights movements.
  3. Students watched a section of the film Local Color, about race and civil rights in Portland. Start clip at around 25:00 in.
HOMEWORK:
WWII TEST!! - Study key terms, people, events, etc. from chapters 33-35 in your History Alive textbook. DUE - Wednesday 5/23
