BBF Quiz and Galeano Reading

Yesterday, students began by taking a quiz over the Introduction and Chapter 1 of Born in Blood and Fire. After, students read a selection from Memory of Fire by Eduardo Galeano. Students chose passages to share with class, with which we created a class text. The combined result of periods 6 and 8 is below. Students closed by listening the the song Cortez the Killer Neil Young. I noted descriptions of the Aztecs that were left out by both Galeano and Young.
