Civil Rights Movement

Agenda for June 2-6:

1. Students viewed a short presentation over some major events in the Civil Rights movement (presentation below).
2. Students watched a clip from the series Eyes on the Prize detailing the the Chidren's March in Birmingham, Alabama.
3. Guest speaker David James, discussed his experiences meeting Martin Luther King, Jr. and as a member of the segregated Tuskegee Airman unit during WWII.
