Mexican Revolution
Today students listened to two songs connected to the events and individuals of the 1910 Mexican Revolution. The first, by Rage Against the Machine, deals with the Zapatista movement of southern Mexico, whose namesake is the revolutionary, Emiliano Zapata. The other song is a Corrido about Emiliano Zapata by Antonio Aguilar.
