Journey to Bananaland

Students watched this clip from the 1950s informational film, Journey to Bananaland. Students analyze its bias and discussed the purpose and goals of it's filmmakers. Students then read La United Fruit Co., by Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. They discussed the perspectives of each and their historical value.
