Today students worked in groups formulating defense arguments for the crime of genocide against the native people of Hispaniola. The groups are: Columbus, Columbus' Men, the System of Empire, the Tainos, and the King and queen of Spain. The mock trial will be held tomorrow. Be prepared to participate!
