Racism and Response

Today we discussed the Great Migration as a response to lynching in the south. Students viewed artist Jacob Lawrence's "Migration" series and took notes over push and pull factors of the migration. Students also read an article, "The War on Telephone Poles".

African American History Packet (WWI, Black Nationalism, Harlem Renaissance). Complete the "Chapter Check" questions.
