Origins of the Cold War

Agenda 3/13-21:

1. Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, students learned about the basic Marxist theory of communism.
2. Students compared eight terms dealing with the Cold War.
3. Students read an article about the origins of the Cold War and answered questions on a worksheet.
4. I gave a lecture over the Origins of the Cold War [below]. HERE are my notes
5. Students learned about McCarthyism and anti-Communist paranoia in the US.
6. Students performed a play about the Rosenbergs, who were put on trial in the 1950s for espionage and giving nuclear secrets to the Soviets.
