Morality and World War II

Agenda 4/8:
  1. From the perspective of a leader in a war, students evaluated different bombing targets, balancing goals for victory with moral implications.
  2. Students watched a clip from the film Fog of War dealing with the American bombing of Japan during WWII.
  3. Students were asked to consider the duties and morality of scientists in war within the context of the development of the atomic bomb.
  4. Students listened to a podcast about scientist Fritz Haber, evaluating his morality. [see below]
