Postcolonial Blues / The Slave's Voyage

I was out on Monday. Students took a quiz over Chapter 3 in Born in Blood and Fire, then read Chapter 4.

2. Students viewed a series of images and a clip from the movie Amistad, dealing with slaves' journey from Africa to the Americas. Students wrote and turned in short reflections after viewing the images.
