1. Students read and article about the Bay of Pigs invasion, taking notes about goals and outcomes for the United States.
2. Students viewed declassified documents from the CIA Operation Mongoose, which aimed at removing Castro from power.
3. Students discussed different options and recommendations president Kennedy faced during the Cuban  Missile Crisis.
4. Students watched a clip from the film The Fog of War dealing with the Cuban Missile Crisis.
