- Students reviewed previous content by writing their own definitions of several key terms: Westward Expansion, Fort Laramie Treaty, Wounded Knee, Misconceptions and Stereotypes of Native Americans, Manifest Destiny.
- Students read A Great Nation of Futurity by John L. O'Sullivan, summarizing and answering questions.
- Students watched a viewer clip about the Battle of Little Big Horn and saw looked at this article about bias in today's news regarding Sitting Bull, Custer, and President Obama.
