Today we discussed/reflected on the Slavery powerpoint. I read parts of an article reviewing a new book on Thomas Jefferson and his relationship with one of his slaves, Sally Hemings. We also discussed the painting "Virginia Luxuries" and its meaning in mid-19th century society.
